COVID-19: NBI Working Arrangements

In line with Government policy, NBI office-based staff are working from home until April 19th. Our colleagues continue to work and are available through the regular communication channels. The health and well-being of our employees and partners is of paramount importance. We are monitoring the situation closely and continue to follow the advice of the Government and implement the requirements set out by the HSE. NBI are mindful of our collective responsibility to take all measures possible to minimise the impact of Covid-19.

    National Broadband Ireland (NBI), the company delivering the National Broadband Plan (NBP) on behalf of the Government, will host a pop-up information event at Austin Friars Street Car Park in Mullingar on Friday the 22nd and Saturday 23rd of October, with the events taking place from 10 am to 4 pm each day.

    NBI Connects First Premises in Monaghan Under the National Broadband Plan

    Over 15,000 premises in the county are included in the State’s Intervention Area, which will see NBI deliver minimum speeds of 500 megabits per second to homes, businesses, farms and schools. As the biggest investment in rural Ireland since rural electrification, County Monaghan will receive €60m of Government investment under the NBP.
